The Packing Plant Module downloads carcass data electronically.  The module is based on the format available from the packing plant.  The program typically handles individual data for live weight, carcass weight, lean content, health remarks, and carcass value.  Combining the individual carcass data with the weight matrix from the packing plant, the cost of feed from the feed database, and the feed conversion ratio allows for a gross margin analysis that determines the optimal slaughter weight.

Graphical analysis:

The Packing plant module also includes a graphical analysis of slaughter weights and a trend analysis of the average carcass weight and lean percentage.  Standard deviations for carcass weight and lean percentage are also provided.
