The Sows / Weaning program is built on a Pervasive database.  The advantage of Pervasive is it's speed of processing data and for the security of it's data.  Both of which are especially important on large farms.  Currently AgroSoft's WinPig is handling sow units with over 10,000 sows securely and quickly.  The program can also analyze comparisons across several thousand units.

Data can either be entered in the central office, on the farm, or with a handheld device such as a PDA or Agrosoft MultiReader.

Data entry screens can be customized to meet a customers individual needs.  For larger herd sizes, typing errors and data entry time can be reduced dramatically using the group registration feature.

Web backup

A backup can be made locally but AgroSoft also offers a web backup feature to a central server.  The web backup is an optional feature and contributors the the AgroSoft web backup can have an instant online comparison with other users.  AgroSoft will not publish data on individual farms without approval from the owner.

Physical and Financial Reporting

An inventory section enables the program to calculate weekly, monthly, and yearly reports for physical and financial reporting.  The basic program consists of a feed database and a price database that makes it possible to create gross margin analysis. 

Multi language

The program supports any language in the world.  Currently it has been translated to over 30 languages.  If personnel entering data speak different languages, each person will be able to change the language setting and work with a language they are comfortable with.
